Durable! This fun little toy has lasted quite a while now for my strongjawed sharptoothed pup. The only odd thing is it seems like you should be able to do something with the whole through the middle. Like I wonder if they could sell plugs for them and you fill it up with water and freeze to better sooth a teething pups gums. Anyway it's durable it's bouncy fun and the pup likes it.
He hasn't destroyed it yet I have a 5 month old lab mix that likes to chew. This has been great he loves playing with the toy and his tail wags just seeing it. It's just the right size for his mouth although for a smaller puppy it might be too big. Mine doesn't have hearts on the end. It's a good toy for teaching him fetch as it's not heavy or bulky in his mouth.
